I was trying to read this without imagining you as the narrator because your sarcasm sometimes chars a piece's seriousness. I was waiting for a joke but you may feel very passionately about your indifference to following politics, so I might be at fault here. I thought it was cool, the structure was unique for a change in the OM and the rhyming was sharp. The subject matter was truthful in some cases.
