Not really. The theme wasn't sad at all. There was one "emotional" passage, with the start of the nuclear fallout, but aside from that it was actually spoke to masculinity and being decisive, or choosing your own route. If you read it as sad that's your interpretation, I guess.
But really, you no-showed. I don't mind you touting your streak, you earned that. But the recurring idea that I was 'lucky' that you no showed is annoying. You can't claim to be such a superior writer that it'd be assumed you'd beat me. It's just not reasonable.
