Mayweather landed the crisper shots. Shotime was being unbelievably hard-headed. "CLOSEST FIGHT SINCE DLH AND JCC!!" Kidding me? Don't get me wrong, it was an entertaining hard-pressed fight. Cotto did more damage than Maidana. But it was close winded. The commentators said the last 3-4 rounds were 'very close'. I almost came in here and congratulated Aero on a close call. Dude had maidana hurting and covering up his midsection like a pregnant kangaroo. Maidana absolutely clobbered floyd (not punching wise, but literally smothered him on the ropes) for about 4 rounds, I think, 3-4-5-6 were probably the most hardpressed rounds. 4th round was the cut, but it was an obvious unintentional headbutt, but is no one going to address Maidanas 4-5 low blows, knee kicks, TACKLING floyd into the ropes? Attacking in the clinch while the ref isbreaking it up? Fucking dirty as fuck, and not even secretive about it either. Corner even said "FIGHT DIRTY". And the commentators have the audacity to suggest he might be losing a step? Dude dominated a fighter that brought the same blueprint DLH, Cotto, and JCC had, and all failed. I give props to maidana, floyd spared the right hands due to his consistent potshotting jabs. But he punished the body during rope clinches. Entertaining fight. @Aero lets see those jordans. nik-a mad conflicted because che guevara was argentinian, so he didn't know who to choose to win the fight.
