Hit Em Up was just mean, and it was waaaaay more aggressive than Ether or Takeover. I concede the Outlawz being terrible though, they bring that song down a notch.

Malcom X might be my favorite diss track come to think of it. that had the aggression and harsh edge of Hit Em Up but with an actually talented lyricist at the helm.

"Aggressive" might not be the right word. When I say that, I mean personal and cruel. "Hit 'Em Up" essentially was an homage to saying "I'm going to kill you" and "You're gay" in various ways. "Ether," "Takeover" and "Malcolm X" were specific, biting and relevant.

2Pac was a very talented lyricist. His dis tracks were terrible, though. He didn't care because he only wanted money and fame.
