the majority of my list are older cats. I still feel they are not to be fuck with....on a decent to good day, lol. So with that said, here's my list, in no particular order.

1. baron mynd - he's more experimental now but, once a writer always a writer. I wouldn't try him.

2. Pent uP - Word on the street is, he's a writer here. I don't know who or what he go by now but in terms of my own personal CURRENT favorite writer, i'm not sure who it would be between him and 3PA, but this dude's been around for a minute and still maintaining elite status.

3. namix - Still to this day, nobody can do what this dude do. Admittedly his placement on my list is more of sentimental nature, however...someway, somehow, i still think he can EASILY scribe a HOF if he really WANTED to.

4. black - He's the "It" kid on the block at the moment. And for good reasons. Black has ushered a dope terse style of rhyming that's been emulated by LOTS of people recently. We all know who u are, u bunch of clones lol.

5. vulgar - If Pent and 3PA are my 1 and 2, Vulgar's easily my 3rd favorite current writer. No shame to say that i sometime hit up AOB just to see if he's dropped any new open mic lol.
