I agree in part, I don't think he can ever be wack as fuck to my ears, but of all the rappers who people say 'fell off' Nas is one of the guys who deserves that tag.

He still has it in him to come with the dopeness, it just isn't on the same level as it used to be, but Nas on top of his game is nearly peerless imo.
