how do you do that? i thought you only did that when you like fix a brakeline? how could i get air in it?

you talking about like bleeding them or whatever?
Google and youtube the make and model of your vehicle with "Bleeding brake lines" as well. There you will find what you are looking for. There are some videos done by mechanics on all kinds of makes and models showing you exactly step by step process as well as tools you are going to need in order to complete the job.
