Storms usually over the water are a lot stronger but weaken as they come in contact with land. So I'm sure depending on the type of fronts it runs in to will only determine whether the storm will strengthen or weaken.

And word, @ Duckie. My son loves that old ass movie. He always says he wants to watch "Sharp tooth".
