The netcee truth hour

[Objective]

An actual truth thingy that I usually keep for myself: I play a lot more games and is overall a lot more geekier than I lead out to be. I once went to one of these huge lan-parties in Norway with a couple of friends in '06 or '07. The nr.1 torrent site in Norway had its own row of seats and that's where we got our seats as well. We also went to a restaurant and a cinema during a meet-up with these people from the torrent site, and I played DDR with one of its creators.
I was pretty active on the forum there for some time so it was kinda natural to meet up with them when we first decided to go. The creators also had a good tone with the creators of Piratebay which came to visit the lan-thingy for a couple of days, and we got our picture taken with them. Norway is a lot more lenient on the piracy laws and we got protected by the people running the thing as well. The feds had a lecture about piracy laws, but that's it. They didn't out anyone or was there to jail people, the only thing they looked for was child pornography (2-3 people were caught for sharing that on the network) and they had dogs looking for drugs (about 5 people was taken in for weed).

I don't even know why I'm sharing this tbh. Both me and my friend was skaters, so we went to the local skatepark one of the days, but that doesn't really help my case tbh.
