trolling online is a term based on the fishing techniqe. Basically "trolling" was throwing out a post to bait a reaction, typically negative.

Now it basically just means going online to act like a shitdick.

1) the first rule of trolling is that the audience you are baiting should never know you're trolling. advertising it makes it just being an ass.
