well its not a strange opinion

Rubber Soul is actually one of my least favorite Beatles albums


it is basically a country album by british dudes

It's very much 1960s pop-rock. But even if it were country, would that preclude it from being great?

it just didnt feel like a rock and roll album to me.

"Drive My Car" (the opener) and "Run for Your Life" (the closer) are among the more divisive Beatles songs. I like the former and love the latter, but they can alienate some people from the rest of Rubber Soul. "Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)," "Think for Yourself," "Nowhere Man," "I'm Looking Through You" and "In My Life" are incredible songs.
