What counts as emo? I dislike Fall Out Boy and Jimmy Eat World and Saves the Day and most bands of that ilk. But Weezer's Pinkerton is my fifth-favorite album of all time.

it's actually for the best i do it all last minute, i'd pick apart every little thing and end up hating everything.

That's where I'm at. Writing is my favorite thing to do and this is my only real outlet for it. So I over-obsess over everything trying to perfect shit. I wish I didn't 'take it so serious' tbh. But it's my favorite hobby, to write these verses.

Whatever. We all have hobbies. This one is free, mentally stimulating and competitive.

Agreed. I dislike people downplaying it. This site is the last bastion for a lot of great writers, in my opinion.

Same here... I'm a perfectionist, especially with this book I'm working on... Much less so with this league... this league is more of a, whatever i can get written before Friday, in between all my other crap, type of deal... Keeps me writing though, and it's nice to have a hard deadline. Keeps you accountable
