Baltimore has released safety Bernard Pollard and guard Bobbie Williams, traded wide receiver Anquan Boldin to the San Francisco 49ers, lost linebackers Dannell Ellerbe [Miami Dolphins] and Paul Kruger [Cleveland Browns] in free agency and watched linebacker Ray Lewis and center Matt Birk retire.

Ya'll will be lucky to make the playoffs imo, & it would be wildcard if ya ask me. Cincy got the AFC north in 13'.

bobbie williams was a bum. kruger was a part time player now getting full time money. ellerbe's getting crazy money for never really being THE GUY just filling in when lewis was out. he was dope tho. so was kruger

but word. kruger was a 3rd rounder. ellerbe was undrafted. cary williams, im not sure if he was drafted, but i know he played his way off the practice squad.

the ravens find talent everywhere. its a dope organisation. reed might leave to the texans too, than we will pretty much lose every free agent who was a "starter"

doesnt matter.

our offense is the same, just no boldin. which is fine we got two dope te's, jacoby, and torrey smith at wideouts with the draft coming up and maybe some free agent pickups.

the ravens will be fine.

one of the best corners in the league. behind him got jimmy smith, corey graham (picked manning off twice in the playoffs) chykie brown etc. so cary was expendable. they cut pollard after resigning ihedigbo because pollard was a nuisance in the locker room i guess behind the scenes. ihedigbo is solid.

only glaring weakness right now is middle linebacker

im thinking theyre looking at maualuga or whatever the fuck from the bengals, and someone in the draft to shore that up until better talent presents itself. wish we woulda got burfict last year.

i'd like to use the first round pick on a safety honestly, over a mlb. get matt elam or eric reid for if ed leaves, or to learn behind ed before he inevitably retires with his old frail ass

Boldin was a huge part of that playoff run so saying he wont be missed is ridiculous. they lost a lot of talent. but hey they won the super bowl so really who gives a fuck. repeating as champs in the NFL is next to impossible these days. so just enjoy the victory.

we let go of free agents people think are KEY players every year.

the key players get the contracts. flat out. suggs. ngata. rice. flacco. yanda. etc. everyone else is pretty much expendable to a degree

the ravens get players for cheap, and utilise them better than pretty much any other team. its what they do. then when they produce in the ravens system, they get big money elsewhere. bart scott. adalius thomas. hell the zbikowski's jim leonards ben grubss etc. some continue that success. most fall off.

its the business of it.

the ravens never really make a splash during free agency. i mean some bigger names we picked up in free agency were dudes like boldin, pollard, leach, people like that. who we got for reasonable money. the ravens save the big money on people they draft and groom mainly

Boldin is 32 making more then Wes Welker. Never had a 1,000 yard receiving year with us and has 7 tds in the last 2 years. Love the dude. He was big in the playoffs but on the wrong side of his career and too much dough.

Ellerbee has only started 13 career games and got 35 mill? No thank you. Replaceable.

Krueger is not worth 40 mill and him and ellerbee will be in the long line of linebackers that have left us and did nothing. Hartwell, Scott was ok and adalius Thomas. Krueger is already replaced lol that's how easy that was.

Cary Williams isn't shit. Webb, Graham, Smith and Brown is a fine cb core. Were good.

Pollard was fun cause he crushed people but he's horrible in coverage. He's a penalty waiting to happen and he's a bad clubhouse guy that can't shut the fuck up. Pollard got me pumped and sure i'll miss him but backbreaking to the team noooo.

None of these losses affect us at all lol they will all be replaced. We still have soooo many weapons on offense the safety core will be re built with more then capable players. Same with the linebackers. So tired of hearing outsiders thinking any of these moves are deal breakers for our playoff chances lol its ridiculous.

When Ed leaves tomorrow that will be the only move that hurts my heart.

Other then that. Every single one of these people are over paid and overrated according tithe money they got. Pollard was cheap but had internal problems in the organization. (Which is why he's going to his 4th team in 5 years)

That's all im saying in this thread. I know my team. So know what im saying is true. We have the literally ranked #1 front office in football that knows there job. Is their achance Ellerbee plays well? Sure but 35 mill for 13 game sample. Not worth it. Krueger will have no help and fall to mediocrity. Cary will be below average like always. pollard will be a new team again in 2014.

Ellerbee was a monster.. dude made plaaays for ya'll yo.. Boldin has that postseason nose for the endzone & he's ultra rare in the league & w/ that playoff performance last year there's no way I could let him walk.
