You really can't expect anything better, @Diode. People are stupid, and voters are largely disinterested/lazy. In typical battles there's this established standard and style that the lazy/stupid voter can grasp and easily explain. Here, there's more variance and substance in one round than in an entire season of typical battle verses.

i understand.. i suppose i had high expectations given the quality of the votes last season, but the sample size was also much smaller and most of the competitors far more experienced and appreciative of the effort involved in these types of things.

i dunno about ydk or ink, but i'd be livid if i spent any amount of time writing my verse and had the battle come down to this:
