Not true.
If the keys are inside the car and you're sleeping, then yes. If the keys are not in the car then, no you can't get a DUI. Normally when people sleep in the cars, if they're smart, they usually leave the keys on top of one of the tires. So if a cop shows up and sees you sleeping, they'll always ask where are the keys to the vehicle. In most cases at least. |
