KRS One and Illmatic was hot shit in my neighbourhood, and I live in Norway. Just sayin'. Then Slim Shady and Marshall Mathers LP came along. Great music is great music. Vanilla Ice sucked, he didn't last very long, did he? House of Pain anyone? (not in the same lane as Ice, FAR from it, but you get my point) Stop talking about Em being the first white dude in the game, he hasn't been around for so long just because he's white.

Yeah but it's good to not overcompensate in the name of anti-conformity, by ignoring an artist because they're regarded so highly by the media.

I think its safe to say that the people defending em truly like his music, and my proof lies in the consensus here that his most recent work sucks donkey dick.
