what freaks me out is actually picking your leg up, somehow helps. i mean i guess if you leave it planted, the kicker can really sink into it. but you would think, picking your leg up would have you lose some of your integrity, and the leg kick could knock you off balance

usually you just check kicks by going shin to shin. hurts both guys. when a leg kick is aimed at the thigh -- you check with the knee. it's about changing the angle on the guy kicking.

i didnt see there first fight, just the highlights, but i wish he wouldve taken him more serious the first time

im just saying i didnt leave this fight overly impressed with weidman
