im just gunna get the screen replaced on my iphone4s really liked it tbh..

real talk I like my galaxy for what it is...i like it much better then the Iphone (Im not an apple person, plus it seems that everything costs $$ with the iphone, while im never charged for my galaxy.) But sht does frustrate me, it freezes at times, or seems to overcomplicate what im trying to do.
However, I got this game called 'Punch Hero' and sht is G af...its takes up where Mike Tyson's punch out left off, some of the same characters and all...throwback af....i b killing my battery playin it...shts dope though. and highly addictive. Its the opiate of cell phone games imo. Highly recommended.

Spotify, browser, games that isn't snake, lists, calendar and weather report on my ''desktop'', twitter, facebook, Viber (skype for the phone, helps to keep them damn bills down), alarm clock with different sounds so I actually wake up (I turn it off in my sleep so several alarms helps), is shit I use a lot. I used to be like OP, I didn't care for smartphones until a friend gave me his old HTC Desire as he bought a new one.

The only thing that sucks is that it needs to be recharged within 3 days or something and it's definately easier to break. My older phones could go for 5 days. My Nokia3310 that I had in middle school went through a lot. Everything from swimming with it to falling out of my pocket while skating. It survived everything.

also the original Motorolla Razr used to make the coolest hollow clicking noise when it would open up, which was awesome to me in HS for some reason...and whoever said that they were practically indestructible was spot on imo.

@Rawn MacDon: Viber is decent and I've already talked about that. The apps I got on my phone worth to mention is;

Endomondo - Training app, but I've been lazy lately so I haven't had much use for it. Anyways.. You can specify it to whatever you are doing; Running, walking, skating, rowing etc. and it'll calculate how many calories you've burned and whatnot. It also got a friend thingy on it so you can share your progress on facebook or with your friends on Endomondo. It also got a GPS tracker so if you want to you can share your favourite routes with whoever you want or use the thing to find great running routes in your area.

You can also set goals for yourself or try to beat your personal best or your friends best on routes you've created. It's a pretty good motivator if you want to get back in shape etc.

Zedge - Decent for downloading ringtones, backgrounds and notification sounds.

ColorNote - Easy to use app that lets you write and edit notes. I use it when I'm writing my grocery shop list.

Flashlight - Uses the light thingy your camera uses to create a ''flashlight''. Comes in handy when you least expect it to.

Wordfeud - Because words with friends looks childish and sucks dick in comparison.

Gmail - I got a gmail account so I also got installed.

Opera-mini - My preferred internet browser on the phone. ^^

Gs3 is def top ten handsets period. I can only name about five that even compete. Most are other galaxies. Iphone is too small, good for chicks and kids or baby-handed men.

I hate them too and I refuse to get one. The whole gps thing on those phones genuinely makes me uneasy. Even when you take a picture on a smart phone gps coordinates are imbedded in the picture. Why does facebook need to know where I am or anyone else? Big Brother maybe? Fuck smart phones I miss them good ass flip phones forreal

Nah man, I feel you. I seriously do. I didn't like em first either and I had a lot of similar thoughts like you have now. I got my first smartphone like a year ago or something. I didn't care for them at all, but they do come in handy in a lot of situations. Allthough it eats up battery fast Google Maps is really helpful and they can be used as GPS's when you're driving as well. The different apps you got on it makes up for the price imo.

You do got a point about us getting older. Imagine saying the shit you did to a 12 year old, he'd just look at you strange. When we were 12 and cellphones were kinda new I remember my moms first reaction was; ''Nah, you can get one when you get older and the homephone works well!''. I guess that some of us is slowly moving towards how most of our parents looked upon technology back in the time.

And word @ whoever is saying that using them smartphones in social settings is fucked up. Unless everyone is playing a drinking game or whatever with eachother and intereacting like human beings, leave that shit for a couple hours you addicted freak. It's rude as fuck and I intentionally don't check or answer messages at times when I'm hanging out with people. Some of my closest friends do that shit and I'm not gonna bash on them, but I think it's fucked if it's excessive use when we're with a group of people that would prefer it if that person joined the convos abit more.
