Selling your soul for riches simply means for material gain or even fame & renown, you allow whoever it is who is offering such to be your master & you are their slave. Their "property". Satanists will tell you that the "devil" as religion claims as an entity, does not exist- rather the "devil" is representative of evil personified. So yes there is a such thing as selling your soul.
