@ill nik-A, your opener was just a generic punch, a simple nameplay diss, nothing major. Second bar, again was basic. Wasn't really feeling the concept there and seems more indirect than direct, but even at that doesn't pack enough of a sting. Third bar, like the previous two doesn't connect to well, though this is your best attempt thus far. Fourth bar, is decent. Still no real connection here. Between this & your third bar, I feel you could have done something more with the concepts used. Something is just missing. Fifth bar seems to me so far as your best shot. This packed a bit of a sting, but it lacks creativity. Closer, is okay. Comes off more like your fifth bar, but out of everything you wrote, the last two bars are the more effective ones.

@ctrlf4, opener is good. The house/roof connection was a nice concept, not a haymaker but a nice jab to start. Your second bar however misses to me. It doesn't come off too well punchwise, more statementish the way you delivered it. Third bar is okay. The set up to the punchline is what makes it connect, but just a personal shot at best. Fourth bar, is good. I liked the small change/Samsung/Apple connection. Again, you do a good job having the set up lead into the punch line. Fifth bar is l-o-l. Not a stinger but decent. Closer was okay. Could have been better, but points for the personal connection.

Pretty shocked at this match up. While this is the first time I've read a ctrlf4 verse, I've read plenty nik-A verses and this was one was far from the norm. I haven't seen you battle much lately so maybe you are trying to warm up or underestimated your opponent. In either case this definitely was far from you at your peak. ctrlf4, was most consistent here, I felt the opener was a nice start and set the tone. LOTB imo was the small change/Samsung/Apple bar. With that said....

MVGT: ctrlf4. Good job by both competitors.
