In-ring though, the dudes from the Shield on the come up.

Far as the kids stuff, Vince -always- wanted a family friendly program.. even in the attitude era, he pretty much did what he had to just to compete. Especially with ECW doin what they were doin.. plus the 'Monday Night War'.. WWF became the best of both worlds.. the high production values and talent roster of the big name Monday night companies with the "hardcore" themes as far as the blood, the hardcore rules, sexual content, etc of ECW..

Now that he basically got the Wrestling game on lock he's back to his roots, so to speak.

It's whatever, I like both styles.. IMO the brawling got repetitive quick. I'd rather see good ol' fashion wrasslin', considering both wrestlers are good. Cena and his 5 moves of death is zzzzzz.

Plus all the head trauma and the whole Benoit thing.. that lead to chair headshot being banned... we'll never see those days again. But I wouldn't mind more adult themes in the "story".

Also as far as the current era goes .. AJ Le >>>>>>>>>>>>>>
just got home so i can get more in-depth with this awesome post

punk easily is top dawg
the shield is the dopest faction in years and i been following one of the dudes for a cpl yrs cause he used to be in TNA, one of the dudes is family with the Rock and another is just dope tbh. they are a legit heel faction

word on Vince always wanting things for kids, but when it was the Hogan era, it was family-oriented. it was always family oriented till the Attitude era, which was geared towards adults & teens, along with core wrestling fans and some kids. this PG era is geared towards kids ONLY, acting as if Cena is god, people actually want to see ANOTHER HHH-Helmsley McMahon storyline(this is like the 5th they've done) and it's all just limited wrestling. like Randy Orton and John Cena win matches the same way almost every match they do. no variety, cena's been doing the reversal belly to back drop where he ducks under a clothesline for almost a decade. they changed the FU's name to Attitude Adjustment, he's still the same character. At least in the Atittude Era and before, ugot different sides of the character or a freshening up. it took WWE a whole decade to find Kane something to do after he went maskless.

the Benoit and Eddie Gurrerro shit killed a lot of wrestling for a while, i remember when nobody could do diving headbutts or crippler crossface until now with Daniel Bryan(awesome technical wrestler). it's just lacking edge now, you can't make a wrestler bleed to bring importance, you can't do chairshots to the head to sell an attack.
