ur older tho so wu had more of an impact on you i like their beats i only bump like 2 songs from 36 chambers. and thats how i feel about most wu albums. a couple tracks on em. |

i wouldnt put diplomatic immunity over it in terms of impact or if i was making a top hip hop albums list but i would definately rather listen to it than 36 chambers in my own time so i will continue to troll this thread but be too lazy to fill it with diplomat videos/songs |

I listened to Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers yesterday (for the 1,000th time). It really never gets old. The only comparable rap album in terms of raw, unbridled energy is Onyx's Bacdafucup, but other than Sticky Fingaz (and not even him always), the lyrics are much weaker. I think that's what makes GZA stand out, because he's the only one who seems like he's not rapping for his life.
It's a great album, but I think there were two missteps: 1. Two versions of "7th Chamber" is highly unnecessary. 2. "Tearz" just doesn't compare to the other two slow tracks.
