If I like an artist I buy his shit

If I'm on the fence I might download free then buy unless I have some extra throwaway cake then I might say fuck it and just buy the shit

If I'm ehhh I'll def dl skim a few tracks and if I like it I buy it if not I just delete the torrent and I'm done with it

But with itunes you can buy a single song for 1.29 some albums 7.99

Y'all don't realize that you buying a physical cd doesn't really matter anymore, the record stores technically buy the cd then you buy it from them the artist gets paid either way the soundscan is just a pissing contest in all reality and if Em sells 10 mill of an album record stores are more likely to order well over 3 mill all together of his next albums etc etc .. Less and less record stores means more and more digital/illegal dl's

But if Kanye sells 2 million digital CDs of yeezus he's making probably as much as selling six million physical CDs because your cutting out costs of jewel cases, booklets, cover art, CDs etc so the illegal shit probably isn't hurting them near as bad
