The Nightmare Before Christmas is really, really good. It has the best Rotten Tomatoes score of any Tim Burton movie, even. I haven't seen everything he's done, but of what I've seen:

usually id say this to be pedantic, but in this case the lengths and techniques they used for stop motion are worth recognizing. doubly so for what they did with corpse bride.
