here we are on a blog straight blastin writtens
but not the same blasts at the boston marathon just passed the finish
they laugh, we grimace, almost wished the newscast had masked the image
we've gladly risen, compassion's lifted
see new yorkers sportin boston caps and smitten
rest in peace to those no longer livin
and bless the ones left in bad condition
these bastards wicked with wrath and vengeance
the saddest penance the human race could have invented
sorry to ruin a good sound but that's my hometown
never thought a terrorist would come around and get loud
cousin was 100 yards away from the finish line
who's to say he's gonna be so lucky next time
feelings of sad times, thoughts trapped in a bad mind
thank god i got a jazzy beat to come and relax mine
still though, i'm usin toilet seats for pillows
toying with weeping willow, annoyed like "where's my thrills go"
from a mess of the night to more stress by daylight
made 2 lefts, that's a right. see? self-deceptions up tonight
i've tried to conjure a lie for this monster inside that jostles my pride
so i sauntered the night, pondering life til i had jaundicing eyes
wishin to be more pompous but liked, insteada softer than pie
maybe obnoxiously fly with a posse of five,
and two pounds of crops to forever stay high

for some reason it just stops there. i dug this up outta my drawer, it looked like i was sposed to spit it on here cuz of the reference to "blogs"
