If any of you Lebron Cockriders have ever played both sports you would know that for the most part the things that make you good in basketball dont automatically make you good in football. Running on wood vs running on grass/turf is completely different. his agility would be tested to the extreme. How fast is his 40? LB's and SS's aren't slow. hell even some DE's can be pretty quick. how good is his blocking footwork? Can he read a defense before the snap? how good are his in-play adjustments? Not to mention the weather aspect. On top of that we don't know how he'd stand up to the type of contact he'd receive every play. Being his height would more than likely make him a liability at TE. his knees would be a constant target. which also brings to question, can he catch in traffic? Can he hold on to the ball after being blown up by a MLB or SS? how good are his hands in general? catching a pass from a 16 year old QB aint the same as a catching a bullet on a hook pattern from Peyton Manning. BTW being good in High School is irrelevant, regardless of where he played. The NFL is a lot faster paced and infinitely more competitive.

football may be his first love but that doesn't mean he would DOMINATE in the NFL. he chose Basketball for a reason. it would be interesting to see. he might turn out to be a decent NFL player but its not automatic that he would be. and at his size he'd be more likely to be placed as a D-Lineman, probably DE.

that reason is money

peyton manning doesnt throw bullets

mlb's and safeties aint allowed to blow up receivers anymore

basketball quickness directly translates to football agility, change of direction, agility, shaking defenders

all he would need is the mental shit. being able to read coverages and etc, but you split him out no one could cover him, even if he was slow, and blanketed, if you put it up he's coming down with it

I think LeBron would be a decent wideout.. I don't think he'd dominate like a CJ tho.

in the red zone he could be BETTER

but word i wouldnt wanna throw him shit on regular routes unless he was somehow wide open, for like the first 2 years. he'd be a red zone threat strictly while getting acclimated

Yeah, I'd be tossing it up in the corner of the end zone to him.

Have him doing toe dragging & 2 feet down drills in practice weekly.

you've never played both sports. that much is easily noticed. because that is very wrong indeed. the changes of direction you make in football are not the same as they are on a hardwood basketball court. just the change of field makes that different. not to mention when you shake someone in basketball you have the added advantage of using a basketball. plus youre trying to get past someone who is NOT trying to hit you. so you have more time and freedom of movement.

how do you know he can catch? and have you seen how high DB's can jump? going up for a reception and holding on to it while coming down is a skill.

how many inches of lebrons dick can you swallow? cuz it seems to me you're trying to take the balls in too.

he could "possibly" be a good player in the NFL. but he would NOT be as dominate as you want him to be

besides all of that... Lebron would be too busy flopping and crying about shit to be effective in the NFL. Because what they call fouls in the NBA is considered good defense in the NFL.

football is his first love, he says it all the time, im not making that up. he chose basketball for money because when you live in fucking akron ohio and ur 17 its play a fun sport you love, or play another fun sport you like and get millions NOW. not 3 years from now maybe if you dont blow out your knees. its completely money.

peyton mannings arm strength is on par with chad pennington at this point in his career. maybe you should watch him play? if thomas has a 70 yard td catch 9 times out of ten its on a bubble screen where peyton used his knowledge to find holes in the defense and deliver. he aint zipping passes inbetween coverage, he is hitting wide open guys, who he is making wide open by noticing coverages and exploiting them at the line

i watch more football than any one person should probably watch

no defensive back will be able to cover him. it would be impossible. put sherman and revis on him on a fade route. what can they do other than hold him? he don't even have to jump with his wingspan.

He would get tackled once a cry. His knees would get obliterated in one HALF. He won't ever play a snap in his life because he wouldn't be able to take an NFL hit. He knows this

thats the most ridiculous shit i ever heard in my life

in your opinion you don't think lebron could be tackled by a guy once and not get hurt.

lebron james is a giant black human being

it would have to be a deliberate try to injure dive helmet to knee

a regular tackle wouldnt all of a sudden turn him into a frail piece of shit

how many of you know that Randy Moss had scholarships to play D1 basketball? but he chose to play football right?... exactly no moving on

are you really trying to debate ]that peyton's arm is weaker than a HS QB's? really? OK lets take peyton out of the equation and insert any other NFL QB. you're losing the point based upon a slim detail.

Impossible to cover? so now you're saying he's the greatest receiver to never play in the NFL? Did you ever see Deon Sanders play basketball back in the day? he could jump with any NBA player. but go ahead, you can live in this fantasy world where lebron is the greatest two sport athlete in the world. even more so than BO Jackson right?

c'mon son get your head out of your ass, its not a hat.
