relapse is dope, easily better than encore and recovery. Accents were tolerable to me, but I know a lot of people really hated them. Bagpipes in Baghdad was my joint for a while. nobody could pull off that beat except Em.
also, Deja Vu is one of the realest songs about drug addiction I've ever heard.

Yeah Bagpipes from Baghdad was crazy too.
Relapse was a dope album to me, accents aside the majority of it was very strong...definitely more of what I like from Eminem than on Recovery. I still thought Recovery was a cool album tho.

sounds like you went into that album thinking that tbh. to me, it's more about the stellar production, ethereal themes, and listening to how he rhymes more so than what he rhymes.

So what ive learned is that NC has probably tainted my opinion on every album after TES but anyway This album was decent i guess, the voice just sounds weak bruh. I mean some songs wouldve been really cool maybe if he wasnt talk about corny subjects, lol like he was trying so hard to be raw/horrocore n slim shady-ish. Had so many weird rape songs. The sound is just off too. i cant see myself bumping this shit on my ipod nor do i even want too man. Like this eminem makes me feel lame listening to him, cause hes bein lame on it. My Darling is dope as shit tho but thiss is waaayyyy better that trash called encore

the only thing on relapse that didnt annoy the shit out of me was Deja Vu. and Beautiful grew on me, especially the chorus.
also, 3AM and Stay Wide Awake woulda been cool without the fuckin accents. it just sucked, he overdid the shit out of it. and thats why i loved recovery, cuz i dont think i've ever heard a rapper literally trash their last couple albums. so he admits it, that they werent good. and also touches on the fact that he overdid the accents. so i respected him for that.
