I spent most of my summers in forests, camping and building shelters, making fires, catching rabbits and shit.

But doing that is MUCH different than LIVING in the wilderness. we have comforts and luxuries that we are so used to and accustomed to that most of us just would not know what to do or how to survive for any significant length of time.

survival hasnt got shit to do with it tho man. if u can hunt u can eat. if u can start a fire you can boil water etc

most humans have this knowledge is what im trying to say

a cut can kill u now if u dont go get it checked up so its no different in the woods.

i remember i learned how to make a fire with the two stick thing from seeing it on a movie and me and my friends wanted to try it when we was young and we wouldnt be trusted with a lighter. we saw it on a show, went and spent like a day trying it till one of us actually did it. my point is the average human is smarter then you think and has more survival knowledge then you let on


no one is dependant on ac or heat and can live with out them. it might suck but it can happen.....wild animals is different sure u can get attacked but u can in every day life to lol snakes spiders etc

You must live in mild climate....because aroud the world LOTS of people are dependant on things like that, and LOTS of people die without it.

I don't know how you would expect to survive the winter months, hypothermia, colds, flu, etc etc.

Without hospitals and doctors we are pretty useless, also there would be things like vitamin deficiencies, scurvy, not getting enough protein or other major dietary staples.

There are so many things that could kill us that we take for granted because we have things like vaccines, and we have doctors who know about things like that.

man im beggining to think your the one hooked on the shit we have now adays. elder folks die from the heat. theres not alot of places where you cant get warm some how and not die from the cold. and the places that is like that is a place you put yourself in anyways. a thousand things can kill you spending an hour outside of your house. and a thousand things inside it. as i said its no different. being dependant on something doesnt mean you die without it.

I'm talking about a random 1st world family being put in an environment like the African Plains where they have to hunt to live, but also have to protect themselves from being hunted, we don't know how to live like that....we are used to being top of the food chain and not having to watch our backs or worry about where our next meal is coming from.

Put together with the fact they probably would only have a limited knowledge of medicine and food preparation and storage in the wild (No refrigerators, no freezers)...I personally don't see them lasting more than a few months.
