just learning you dweebs a little... You don't grapple for submissions in a street fight... Street fights are drunken dick measuring contests.... If you are attacked however, or find yourself in a dangerous situation.. The skills learned will assist you in saving your own life and/or limbs.... So many other martial arts are mostly useless square dancing... BJJ has rl, street applicable shit... That anyone would want to know if they were attacked in a dark alley by Osama Bin Laden.

So your fighting is different from martial arts because it focuses on technique, and consists of rl, street shit. In my next street fight/ drunken dick measuring fight that doesn't go to the ground, I will keep in mind how much better your sport is at making sure you win on the ground.

Not true ive L'd( rear naked choked ) a few dudes out irl ... even if they don't pass out cutting off that oxygen for a minute will make them weak and rethink coming at you again
