• Check Ins are due Friday, July 26th, 2013 @ 11:59 PM PST
• Voting ends Thursday, Aug 1st, 11:59 PM PST.
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are normally 24 hours
  (unless requested otherwise, that is),
  can be no longer than 48 hours
  and have to be granted by your opponent.

Line Limit:

• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 16 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both. If no line agreement is made you CANNOT go above 16 lines

General Rules:

• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
  linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
  means you will disqualified.
• A check in IS mandatory.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
• If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post
  must match the 1st person's line amount.

this was a dope battle, both dropped with consistence. both had some haymakers but all in all i felt karp had slightly better execution and was a bit more effective with the personals. i also have +1 quotable in ak's favor.. dope read. but im giving the edge to alvin karpis.

Non quotes were solid to good except for the sports lines by each (Benson, Bynum). Quotes are even. Dope battle but Sharkton was LOTB for me and that's the only clear edge I see

Connected with Alvin's verse more, was descriptive, and easier to follow. Someone tagged me to vote, so I'll vote!

Beyonds seemed good, but I didn't really hold any grounds to understand most of it, actually I just read it again, and it wasn't that confusing, just don't think it landed hard enough, though on another day I'd probably choose beyond for he has a style that's like an acquired taste. Alvin seemed less ill-intent on landing, than beyond, and beyond seemed a bit more aggressive, but right now, looking outside and it's raining. I'd have to choose alvin with a slight edge

i got beyond here with more consisttency. karpis had some clever shit but to me there some really dry lines bars inbetween.

Beyond had Custer, insecurity, and shark ton lines, the other ones were all solid though.

Karp had meth vote, slit your wrists, feel shitty and victors cousins lines. Other ones were decent, strikta line was weak though.

Overall, gotta go with karp. He had a couple bangers in a row that I thought were just dope enough to beat beyond's consistency. Good shit to both.

Coming from the last batt this was very underwhelming. Not good from either & very formulaic. I think Karp was a little better so I'm going with Karp.
