well what was he spose to do lol he prolly figured it would eventually start decreasing in size like normal

but that obv is an abscess and not a pimple or is that the same thing??

and abscess is in infection sometimes they go away sometimes you need antibiotics or they keep growing

but it wouldn't take long for an elderly guy such as himself to develop one this big

Yeah its an abcess, my dad had one like this on his thigh, had to get it lanced by a doctor and take antibiotics for weeks, if you don't it will just come back.
