i can't comment on the uk one, i've never seen it, but frank in the US one is perfect

i think it all comes down to which one you've seen first

and there are big houses all throughout the hood, in the sense of 3-4 bedroom places for dirt cheap. i know of one right now, full attic, full basement, 3 bedrooms on the second floor with a bathroom, living room, dining room and kitchen on the first floor for 400 a month.

so i never even really realized how "big" there house was. its pretty much the same setup, if anything there house is smaller with the dining area in the kitchen itself.

but word i think it captures poor white trash america perfectly. something i know way too much about

isn't joey from friends in the US version? real gritty. Americans always over polish it, that's why English actors have taken over Hollywood. US shameless frank.is just a self indulgent drunk, he has no where near the depth of character the original has, he just looks the part. this isn't which one you've seen first, the original frank is way better, fact. I can back this up with various articles agreeing with me, show me one that says William Macy is better.

I've never seen this show but I'm American so I'll watch the American version if I ever do. But no one can say for a fact that one version is better than another. It's all a matter of opinion. Just because a critic says one is better than the other doesn't mean it really is. They're just fat faggots who get paid to watch movies and tv shows and say what you should watch. Everyone has a different opinion....but American football is better than soccer. FACT.

the UK version is dope don't get me wrong, I just vibe with the US one more mainly because Frank is jsut a drunk for the most part, he is much more humorous than the UK frank

i dont know who the uk frank was. i never seen it. i'll check it out, but im sure just like the office, i wont like it as much because i saw the american version first. im a fan of gervais, i just think carell was better. im sure i will think this william macy dude is better too. but i think it will have to do with me not knowing there was another version of it.

he thinks joey from friends is in shameless because at the end of the article the dude recommends a completely different show, that stars joey from friends.

the only articles i find on the subject are all 2 years old, written shortly after the first episode of the us version aired. they havent seen the us show take form and base there opinions after watching SEASONS of the uk version, to 1 episode of the us version. cmonson. you become invested in the characters of any show you watch, and watching others play those characters, will never live up to what you first watch.

i'd like to see some recent articles on it but i can't. the only thing im finding on google are people asking which is better, and its either a bunch of british people claiming there version is better, or a bunch of americans claiming the american version is better
