Frank is just so much better in the UK version.

basically, just it's set more around a poor council welfare estate.. not just necessarily around one the family. though the gallagher's are the main family, lead by the alcoholic frank. the us version frank is no where near as good as ours, he's what really makes the uk version of the show great.

i don't blame you, you're always gonna identify with the american characters better.. it's one of them shows where you have to do that.

naa, your not going to be able to tell me otherwise.. i'm pretty sure william h macy would agree with me. imo, he isn't lowlife and despicable enough.. he doesn't play drunkard pill popper as well, not realistic enough. the house they live in is too big, it's too fancy and doesn't equal the low down seediness of the uk original. like i said, you can't connect with the characters from the uk version like you can with the american. imo uk shameless far surpasses the american one.

Honestly Americans don't give a rainbow sherbet shit about the uk version so stfu about it.
