can we kill notifications?

There's an arrow next to your notifications under your name, if you click it it, it drops down and shows you what each notification is

word, but to clear my notifications i have to open a new page for quotes, and open a new page for @'s

so when i click the dropdown and see my notifications are all quotes and @'s im like ok and go about my business. then i get a pm. but i don't realize because i have 756 notifications from nonsense

its stupid

the question is can we change it

So you can't open two windows?

Here's what you do. Request a username change to something with a mad weird character in it like Eng (Eŋg) so that way no one can mention you unless they go to your profile and copy/paste your name

Make sure it's not on your phone keyboard
