i just cleared my 890 or some shit and realized that when you don't have notifications, it goes back to the OG showing if you have PM's

can we disable quote and mention notifications?

i operate under the assumption that no one ever checks their notifications because its probably people quoting you or @ing you in JEST

thats how i got over 800 of them before realizing i had like 4 hidden pm's in there

is there a way to seperate it then? so i know when i got a pm without constantly clicking notifications every single time i sign on wtf

Can't you just put your bookmark at your PM page? that way you would check your PM 36 times a day right?

the point is not having to open a page to see that i have pm's

or is there a way to turn on pm notifications like every other site, where when you get a pm you get a popup like you have a pm click cancel to open in this page or ok or whatever?

2. If you are browsing the forums when you receive a new private message, the system can pop-up a notification box informing you of the new message.



Those are two options I think you haven't clicked that you should consider????

There's an arrow next to your notifications under your name, if you click it it, it drops down and shows you what each notification is

word, but to clear my notifications i have to open a new page for quotes, and open a new page for @'s

so when i click the dropdown and see my notifications are all quotes and @'s im like ok and go about my business. then i get a pm. but i don't realize because i have 756 notifications from nonsense

Here's what you do. Request a username change to something with a mad weird character in it like Eng (Eŋg) so that way no one can mention you unless they go to your profile and copy/paste your name

Make sure it's not on your phone keyboard
