you advised someone to waste hundreds on a smart tv, a closed garden environment with no control outside of what the vendor gives you until their next batch is released and you are left with unsupported garbage.

you advised that in the era of chromecast, roku, firetv, etc.

nobody should buy anything but a basic tv with high pq if they aren't going the projector route. smart tvs are anything but.
