I agree with BW whole heartedly...

its good knowledge...its just how u implement that knowledge that can dictate bitch-like attributes...

and also Void was onto something too...there is a diffrence between a reaction and a response...one is calculated, while the other is acting without control, and therefore can easily be manipulated...and its good to know both sides of the sword, so u no longer react, but calculate ur response...also its helpful to know how to provoke a certain response by those who just act without thought...

i feel knowledge is power, and if implemented correctly this can b extremely helpful...

i mean is implementing the 'art of war' in business setting a bitchlike characteristic...i think not, i think its more strategic.

So I disagree with OP....

Marcus Aurelius- emperor's handbook/meditations
Atilla the Hun - Leadership Secrets
John C Maxwell - 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership

just to brush the surface...

This sounds very similar to The Prince by Machiavelli. Is it because I've never heard of this until this thread? I'll have to check it out though sounds good

maybe your browser can't open pdf files? Try right clicking the link and select something like "Save target as..." and then open it with Adobe Reader?

And @dead man, yeah, what I posted is probably just a summary. I'd have to spend some more time searching for the whole thing as a pdf, but that's not worth it, 'cause I, for one, hate reading books on a computer screen.

I once tried to read The Art of War on the computer, just 'cause it was available, but not only did the reading from a screen suck, I also got very distracted. If I want to read nowadays, I gotta make sure there's no computer available at all.
