48 laws of power versus how ta be a bitch

Same thing? Does applying the 48 laws of power make you a manipulative bitch?

I have much to say about this....

I read this book. It's actually quite helpful in a professional environment. Some of the rules, I apply. Like using not saying too much. For the most part, reading the 48 laws of power allowed me to recognize when girls were trying to seduce me to use me for something. It gave me the info I needed to not fall into some bullshit.

48 laws of power doesn't make you a bitch unless you use it for bitch-like things. Books are open for interpretation by everyone who reads them.

Had this discussion with myself in my mid to late teens. Everyone manipulates. This book, or books like it, only make you more conscious of some of the manipulations you probably already use and allow you to focus it, if you so desire. A conscious effort not to manipulate; to be genuine or 'keep it real', can lead down a road of extreme anti-social behavior. You'll recognize personality as finely tuned manipulations, only people aren't aware of it, they just see it as 'who they are'. It's a burden to be intelligent enough to see most sides of things. The average person only sees their personality, their life and their perspective. So when they act the way they do, they don't understand why, they only adapt, react and live. When you start to learn that behavior is just a form of manipulation, and see all the different perspectives at once then you start to realize just how silly we all are.

Manipulative people are usually out to get what they want by making everyone happy. I told my mrs I think she is losing touch with herself after the new born and she needs to get out and see her friends and have some girl time and I will look after our son. She gets out and has a great time and is better off for it. I get to play on the xbox 360 all night with out hearing her nagging....

The key is manipulative bitch. Which adds a lil more power and malice. Can you increase your power without being malicious?

Badweather 03-05-2013 09:22 PM

Yes...if you read the book, you'd see.

Must be inference or a different edition. Should maybe read it in a different light.

You must read his 33 strategies of war as well after....that is the advanced class.

The first thing is this: people want...need control.

super pimp trillionaire 03-05-2013 10:48 PM
