But Statik Selektah sounds like a retread too often to me. He hasn't developed his own flair like the best do. As a result, he's good for letting the rapper be the star on a mixtape, but I wouldn't want to do an album with him (if I were on the level of Action Bronson or Ransom as a rapper).

Also, @BagcakeBrah, I listened to Ace Hood's album. It sounded like a hypothetical album where Drake stopped whining and singing and made a straightforward rap album. That's not a knock or praise, really. It was good enough to crack my list (which has been edited).
