word being offensive should not be the end all goal of battles....its a dark trend away from where the culture originated

battles used to be about showcasing skill now theyre about derogatory shock tactics centered around prejudice and ignorance

I be bored af these days reading verses filled with deeply invasive personal attacks on members of our community in battles

its bad energy....hip hop was built to uplift not tear down

its still possible to show case talent without the aforementioned approaches
