Who Has a Good Story Idea that I Can Steal?

I've always thought about a middle aged white male who is antisocial and withdrawn when he's at work, delivering mail. But when he gets home, he has conversations with his coffee table. After a while of this, the coffee table asks if he ever wanted to travel, he says no but then the coffee table hints that he could go to lands unseen, then begin the crazy ass adventures. At first it gives him a new found confidence and outward socializing, but then he becomes addicted to escaping reality, and becomes a mega recluse and loses his job. In lieu of this he becomes late on rent, and bills, and loans. Now, the coffee table is promising him an adventure of a lifetime, and says it'll happen when he's ready for the dangers. He eventually gets all his stuff repossessed (including the coffee table) and apartment. And now he's gotta go on another adventure to find a new place to live and to also hunt down his old coffee table, which he now sees as a friend. Unfortunately it's in the real world. I haven't thought out how to get to the conclusion but I would conclude it with the table never talking to him or taking him on adventures anymore.
