Who Has a Good Story Idea that I Can Steal?
 

Coming off the writer's convention I'm inspired but I need to come up with good story ideas. It will be novella or novel length.

I've been brainstorming and so far I've got a storyline about a football player who switches sports only to discover his love of kinesiology.

As you can see that's called writer's block.

Jippy, the androgynous mouse

ironically suffers a nasty injury in the new, less violent non-football sport..
begins studying kinesiology as a scientific career path, more than just a hobby..
finds out his on-again/off-again girlfriend, who is in some ways quite a headcase, is unexpectedly pregnant with his child..
the child is a boy who, starting at a young age, the Pee-wee level, comes to love football. And, as time unfolds, his talent is such that he is able to pursue a dream of playing DI college ball after a stellar high school career, where he played multiple positions..
meanwhile the father is proud, nurturing this gift and going to as many games as he can despite his hectic studies (and later, field research&published studies)..
the dad has even been saving $ in case the son doesn't get a "full ride" from a big school..
you could go many places from here.. like choose your own adventure, but let's just assume he Does get the scholarship at a large football school, playing a position of your choice. he might not start as a freshman, but by his soph year or redshirt frosh he is battling up the depth chart and begins taking the field on crisp autumn saturdays..
throughout all this you can expound upon the relationship between the kinesiologist and his baby' mama... maybe they patch things up and become stable, both nurturing the boy's dreams.. maybe she becomes even worse of a headcase, and the father struggles to juggle the stressful relationship with his demanding kinesiology pursuits.. ..or maybe they totally part ways at any point in the boy's life, with custody either split or going solely to the father (but not solely to the mom of course, due to issues or incidents about her which you could elaborate on)..
anyway, at some point the dad and son have to have an argument about safety&concussions, with the son being very stubborn and the dad reluctantly knowing that it's too late to foster doubt or needless worry into the dreams of his only son.. but perhaps he insists on a special helmet.
maybe the dad's work could involve studies for major sports Leagues, even if they're detrimental with respect to lawsuits and "league image"..
the son's college days, particularly off the field... could be many chapters right there.. lotta options.
i don't know.. maybe it's all sounding dry..but like i said there's a lot of places you could go with it and i think you could make it an entertaining read..

The story of a young Filipino boy who grows up to be a one of the best black rappers in the world; only to further realize that it was all in his head.

How did I do?

I've always thought about a middle aged white male who is antisocial and withdrawn when he's at work, delivering mail. But when he gets home, he has conversations with his coffee table. After a while of this, the coffee table asks if he ever wanted to travel, he says no but then the coffee table hints that he could go to lands unseen, then begin the crazy ass adventures. At first it gives him a new found confidence and outward socializing, but then he becomes addicted to escaping reality, and becomes a mega recluse and loses his job. In lieu of this he becomes late on rent, and bills, and loans. Now, the coffee table is promising him an adventure of a lifetime, and says it'll happen when he's ready for the dangers. He eventually gets all his stuff repossessed (including the coffee table) and apartment. And now he's gotta go on another adventure to find a new place to live and to also hunt down his old coffee table, which he now sees as a friend. Unfortunately it's in the real world. I haven't thought out how to get to the conclusion but I would conclude it with the table never talking to him or taking him on adventures anymore.

later the fake online gangster who is really 5 footmexican woman disappears from online and the fake black guy is said to have ethered her, but dat not case, they were actually DATING, after a DISCUSSION TIFF LMAO! thats whymexican lady wasnt online for solong..was in love with filipino baron...THEN

they get married,

PLOT TWIST AGAIN: the filipino baron is actually a GIRL with big fat butt...nicknamed aerolina....SO ITS A LESBIAN MARRIAGE LMAO! and they're doing it in NY since marraige just became LEGAL.
