I’m in a writing kinda mood, but while I’m deciding what to do…
I’m guiding lines to choose what type of driving I should skew
the lighting’s right but new, so darkness whispers opportunity
ideas blowing in the wind as the hardest blizzard caused a unity
the illness has immunity, diagnosed insane with a cold to blame
happy trails lost in a road to pain while drunk drivers mold the lane
we pray for gold in vain then scold our shame as denial preaches
the style leaches on to a bond so strong it brings a smile to Jesus
get the wild to greet us, animal instincts tamed by circus acts
curse the facts, a sinister’s joke is usually followed by a nervous laugh
the purpose asked… nosey people breathe when neighbors lie
house warming gifts include cherry flavored pie & a favor pried
which dictator’s shy? appetite for destruction while the waiter cries
look up at the creator’s sky, I cloned his tree for a greater high
I got a sailor’s eye, fishing for compliments in a sea of verbs
I’ve seen you stirred, my writing mood’s over so I’ll free the words
