Due Dates:

• Verses are due Wednesday,
  July 3rd, 2013 @ 11:59 PM PST.
• Check Ins are due Sunday, June 30th, 2013 @ 11:59 PM PST
• Voting ends Sunday, July 7th, 11:59 PM PST.
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are normally 24 hours
  (unless requested otherwise, that is),
  can be no longer than 48 hours
  and have to be granted by your opponent.

Line Limit:

• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 16 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both. If no line agreement is made you CANNOT go above 16 lines

General Rules:

• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
  linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
  means you will disqualified.
• A check in IS mandatory.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
• If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post
  must match the 1st person's line amount.

I dunno....to me, Nik was really good....but Dom just killed it. I was really feeling most of his verse. Wordplay was really on point and fresh. The jumbotron and familiar feeling lines from nik were haaarsh, but Dom just came with more punches of a higher calibre.

This was a dope battle. Close. I have to agree with Cashius, though. I also think Dom had verse of the round after reading his verse a second time. Opener was fresh. Follow-up, too. Living Quarters I did feel could of been better, but good concept either way. Fresh. Home Straight was vintage Dom and also fresh. Porkupine was nasty. Blubber had strong wording. Cleaning spray was a great line. Closer was excellent, too. nik had middle ground which was good. Adopt a style needed a better connection, IMO. Critical thinking was good. Little things was funny. Well recognized was good, too. Bad Guys was solid. Ring to it was stretched, but good. Closer needed a little more. Overall nik came like he always does, dope as fuck. He came with that same trademark style and did his thing here. Dom did as well, though. Dom was more consistent here and just had a fire verse this round. Not really any bad lines. A lot of originality and creativity as well as strong wording. When Dom's at his best, he's as good as anyone who's ever done it. Both legends either way, IMO. Props to both.

Living quarters, pork u pine, and Dom's closer were all pretty good as well.
I thought Nik's first 2 bars weren't on point with the rest, cuz then he had fire.
Family tree and Jared lines were probably the best two bars to me.
But Dom was more consistent throughout...didn't have anything that wasn't decent.
Probably for Dom, VOHL.
