The story of how thousands of mentally disabled men were enslaved by a Texas turkey business for decades. Call me whatever names you want, but this story broke my fucking heart. @Certain - if you haven't read this already, it looks like the Grey Lady refuses to go down without a fight. This is what separates real journalists from bloggers and tweeters. What a horrific story, though. The gall of the living proprietor to still claim it was all a scam by mentally disabled people.. ugh. Hope he meets his maker scared and alone, knowing nobody is there to save him.

pretty crazy yo but what happens to the average mentally disabled person? like what kind of lives do they live normally if they have a normal family?, meaning one that can't support them
