I don't know why I never got around to feeding this before. This, unlike the second part, was one of my favorite things from you. The emotion was palpable but never seemed fake or over the top. The details were strong, and the rhymes were stronger. The ending was the weak point, and I don't mean the very last line as much as how you set up that scene with the sheriff's deputy. If that was real, it wasn't clarified enough. But overall, this was one of the better verses I read this season.
