I watch the old tapes on mute, to be honest,
but I still hear that grainy sound.
without me taking care of the films,
by now they’d be breaking down.
exposed to heat and humidity,
the videos would be faded out.
any debt that I had to the family…
I wish it was paid, now.

The Past :
Way back at Silverlake Hydrosomarouge
My first driver Freddie survived four crashes
Before dying in a fatal accident
Says the old car who roamed far with many inhabitants
Leather seats worn away,One million displayed on the odometers gauge
no rust revealing my age,that was 40 years ago what about today?
Freddie was my first driver before electric windows and skirt visors
driving Drunk near Barron's lake north of Appalachia
A young man who liked danger
he drove me out the factory of my maker
wearing his work clothes smelling like old brandy
a loner with no family,he liked to speed while doing nose candy
wrecked my whole chassis the first time he crashed me
Into the phalanges of a mad tree
Freddie was smiling while swigging his flask clean
The crash was head on
He said it was like waking up from a bad dream
can't describe the pain I felt when the windshield hit the backseat
in the shop they replaced my hand made front end with a standard piece
that's a damn shame if you ask me
but how many people ask their car if it feel's cheap?
Those are the breaks when driving through these surreal streets
No AC in the summer breathing gas from your stale cheeks
I might stall on the highway causing a bad scene
I might run over a nail causing a bad leak
but as long as you got some gasoline
I will keep going 'til the last squeeze...

The Last Driver :
One day people will light a candle,during a voodoo mass
come up and bless the Queen,closing off the streets
I drove between a hearse,radio blasting a dead verse
to resurrect thee awoken broken being
From hit and run's to stolen mirrors you know the fiends
other people in mass get dented bumpers swerving their car fast
while this drivers timing is redlining Bugatti's till the sparks flash
still outrun every highway patrol in a jacked van
one hand on the steering wheel another on some priceless paintings
stolen by a nazi war criminal while stationed in Hastings
I drive into a unknown parking garage in Tribeca
riding next to a Ferrari and Impreza non-impressive
the authority's to busy to ticket this offender
Cause they are dead too,an ambulance opens up the lanes
the garage dirty white walls reflect the red blue
I steer to the side and let a news truck press through
life and death moves,suddenly the signal switches to a song of static
thinking to myself this is a good time to drive the interstate
smoking weed tasting like winterfresh
never overheating the radiators cooled off
by someone driving over the bridges edge
some fell off and hit the concrete
everyday he put the petal to the metal from Maine to Palm Beach
All those highway miles created a road to freedom
I can feel it in Palms Reach,exiting the midtown tunnel
traffics backed up to canal street
like Pakistani scrap trucks circling dirt road mountains
where the clouds meet
unoblivious to landslides the worlds dropping boulders on your cargo
neither electric or green my exhaust fumes increase the smog growth
life's like driving over landmines until they detonate and the car blows
lost in the city during a riot near the Staten Island ferry
I drive past a man sitting on a stop light drinking heavily
unlike others with there small screen snippets
My universe exhibits
All the gas guzzling Hot Rods that blow past your speed limits
just then my driver pulls over in a dark alley
abandoning the car leaving the keys in it
As he walks Into the night..

old school style i love the video clip it fits the first few bars dope you just get lost in it its like theres no real substance i loves it.. very somber worth sleeping to this verse.. crazy town drowning is a dope side note reminder gave i xoxo.. awesome story structure is the best part short stabby and delicate.. super dope.. love the ending..

dope intro.. i love that you named the style of cars.. it really sets the scenary.. def can get lost in it.. stolen picasos i dont think yall going do better then that line.. atm i live in a town built of war that if you are an artist you are even guilt of war crimes.. based in ww2.. this is beautiful language.. i loved the uber eats drop to def brought it some depth.. the past part was awesome.. loved the ending..
