• Check Ins are due Friday, July 26th, 2013 @ 11:59 PM PST
• Voting ends Thursday, Aug 1st, 11:59 PM PST.
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are normally 24 hours
  (unless requested otherwise, that is),
  can be no longer than 48 hours
  and have to be granted by your opponent.

Line Limit:

• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 16 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both. If no line agreement is made you CANNOT go above 16 lines

General Rules:

• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
  linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
  means you will disqualified.
• A check in IS mandatory.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
• If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post

daaaamn, reading mets verse.. thought it was consistent and fresh as fuck and honestly thought he was going to take it. all og concepts.. all quoted bars were dope.. the ones i didn't quote tho were complete misses inmho.
strik was also on point with concepts that i haven't seen before.. the 2 bars i bolded were fucking fiaaaaa. that pancake bar actually made me lol. wording and execution were very on point. annywaaay both of you came out with fresh as fuck concepts which made for a really enjoyable read, but i have strik catching the dub here w/ those 2 kill bolded bars and all in all being more consistent and a bit harder hitting than metts. dope read, and props to both.

didn't really seem close at first, but I guess you can make the argument it was.

Going with J.Metts on this one, was cool, although this isn't really my forte. I felt J Metts edged it here, actually by a considerable margin, but it wasn't mindblowing. I felt strikta was on par but just didnt match up on some lines. Both seemed to be a little odd, but both very good!!!!!!!!

Joey had one of the best verses I read from him since way back...shit was dope.
Grown ups 2 was the only one I thought was a bit off, but everything else was solid.
The back to back discrediting votes bars were both nice and fitting.
Locators was dope, vine and sticky were comedy, and ultimate writer was hard.

Strikt came wit fire too. That paraplegic line mighta been my favorite of the battle.

Aight so yo......this was an ill battle......joe was cleaner last rd tho imho.....i feel like sum of his concepts were there but the wording was labored and made it dificult to get to the punches smooth enuff for them to connect. Striks conceots have always been nuts....incorporating several aspects into one line sentences like that pork kabobs and cyst line.....hes only recently tho to me coming into his own with crisp wirding. I think strik was more coherent with better worded & mkre complex conceots with harsher conections.
