You're missing the big picture. Your country is out of control lately, within the past 5 years shit has spiraled out of control. If a medication I was taking caused my face to fall off, I would want it labeled on the bottle. but if the companies have 100% liability to know what goes into there shit, if they don't, then it shouldn't be on the shelves until they do. It isn't about babysitting, it's about being held accountable. Most of these big pharma companies aren't even regulated by the FDA anymore, niggas just take there words for it at the hospitals and med centers. The people who do hardcore and alternative research on the shit are labeled all types of shit and discredited, hence the term alternative, if more of the facts were in the mainstream, the whole "research" aspect of your argument wouldn't need to be

Also you got it all twisted up, anyways. These are generic versions of laboratory developed, namebrand drugs. There's no provision that says "drug companies can do whatever they want now k bye" it's saying you can't get your dick sued off for the side effects of a product you produce to within FDA approved specifications

This is going to make medicine cheaper, and is probably a result of USA having a strange healthcare situation.

Watchdog X? who the fluck is that? lol. Foods and drinks too, flouride, high fructose corn syrup, mercury, aspartame, all these toxins and hazardous chemicals you can find in your local grocery store isle readily available for consumption without warnings or anything. The process for actually getting the shit through for approval and getting the med reps to take it is fucking crazy. I'll tell you how it goes:

Big pharma companies mass produce and distribute the products
they test them, in house. Other tests done on these products are private and non profit meaning (niggas don't get money to test em even though it costs a hell of alot of money and time to do it based on human/animal testing laws, etc)

These same big pharma companies get the health organization reps to come out on these huge extravagant seminars that are prepaid for like a few weeks at a time. Wine an dine these fuckers to the upmost, give them pamphlets, a few power point presentations and the shit is gold. They aren't even given the chance to dispute because the Big Pharma companies in house regulations and such are taken as gold.

GENERIC drug makers are no long accountable.

The brand names, the ones who develop these drugs - are still accountable.

In other words, if you're given name brand Zoloft and it melts your eyes, you will be able to sue Pfizer

But, if you take a generic Zoloft, and your eyes melt WELP THATS ON YOU BUDDY

so basically if you have prescription insurance, better hope it covers you for name brands.

if it doesn't, or you just don't have it, be ready to shell out probably 5 times what the generic would cost.. actually now, I'm sure name brands will sky rocket in price and we'll be left with a choice of selling our souls to pharmaceutical companies or taking unregulated drugs.
