Default How old is too old for the club?

I'm 24, but when I was 21, I was going to clubs 5 - 6 times a week and got involved with too many problematic girls in the process, so I got tired of them really quick. I've only gone out once in the last couple years

But how old should you be when you finally grow out of that phase? I know nobody wants to see 50-60 year old men and women in the club.

Personally, I think anything over 30 is too old. You should get the last of it out of your system by 29, but then you need to grow the hell up

Why is inserting yourself in a social scene after 30 a bad thing? Doing it every night of the week would be bad but some clubs are directed towards an older crowd

Personally I'm 32 and wouldn't step foot in a club if you paid me but I'm married with children.... if I was single I could see going once a month maybe but to something a little more grown that has a strict dress code etc etx.

I did most of my clubbing ( double entendre ) before I hit 18 .. Knowing bouncers and a fake ID can take you places lol but I was sick of them by 22

I, of course, have never been 30. So I can't say from experience...but I always expect the social scene of 30 to be completely different than the social scene of 20. I know I took my little sister to a concert fairly recently (i cant remember the name of the band....they work kiss-like makeup and did punk/heavy rock music) but I was hanging out at the bar off to the side and two middle aged women tried to pick me up. That's just gross, man

The social scene at 30 is suppose to be your family and close friends and then maybe once a year some place you'd never go to and for good reason...

With divorce rate up and the popularity of cougars and younger women being attracted to older men, clubs have seen a rise in age and it probably is awkward because younger women aren't clubbing looking for a Gibbs from csi look a like

30

I'm 29 and once every 3 months I'll go to a club only cuz my boy is the dj n he hooks me up and even then I'm like 'why am I here.. Shoulda stayed home with my daughter'

It's just so redundant now and at this point in my life I'm tryna settle down

Not saying being drunk doesn’t mess up you reasoning. I’m turning 20 soon so I haven’t had a drink ever.

It depends on the average age of people there.

If you look around and everyone is your age, it is cool, if you look around and everyone looks like they are closer to the womb than their first period, you need to go home.

I used to be at clubs every night for about 3-4 years, now I have had to grow up and don't really go at all anymore. I prefer just sitting in a bar with a few friends, better atmosphere.

Yours words will always be in my heart, when I feel down, when I am lonely, I will think of you.
